About Niihaw
Niihaw first opened its doors in London in 2011. In that time, we 
have built a business with a proven track record of sales success and 
development and have multiple stores across South London and Kent.
We
 have been serving up authentic fresh handmade Sushi, Dim Sum, Japanese 
Ramen and Taiwan Bubble Tea for the last 11 years, always with freshness
 and quality at the forefront of our menu – it’s all about the Niihaw 
experience!
NiiHaw (ní hâo) means ‘hello’ in Chinese, 
NiiHaw also has a double ‘ii’ in the middle, which means ‘good’ in 
Japanese reflecting how our customers feel once they have visited one of
 our stores!
2022 has been an incredibly exciting year for Niihaw,
 we have been working hard developing our business into a robust and 
comprehensive franchise offering ready to accelerate growth in 2023 
across premium locations in the UK.
Sushi has rapidly grown
 in popularity in recent years, and has become on of the leading 
food-to-go choices and a staple on grab and go supermarket shelves. 
Consumers are looking for healthier and cleaner lunch and evening 
takeaway options, a factor that has contributed to Niihaw’s growth and 
popularity. 
Our stores are simple to manage with minimal staffing
 requirements, meaning low operating costs and offering a quick return 
on investment compared with other take-away options. You can open a 
Niihaw Sushi takeaway for as little as £105,000 plus VAT and typically 
expect a return on investment in under 2 years.

Training And Support
LOCATION ANALYSIS
 We research your location and look at more 
than 10 factors to determine the right territory including details such 
as demographics, population density and suitable venues. 
COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAMME
You
 will receive comprehensive on site and in- house training to ensure you
 are fully up to speed and confident operating your very own Niihaw. 
Quality of service and food quality is paramount and the in house 
training will focus on this. 
MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA
We will work to establish a large social following in your area.
PRE-LAUNCH MARKETING
Write
 professional PR and distribute to local and national national press, 
post on social media channels, establish local social media accounts. 
ON-GOING SUPPORT
Training
 and operating manuals are always available for you and your team. We 
conduct Regular business review meetings to ensure you are making the 
most out of your area.  
Who’s Ideal for Us?
We are now actively seeking franchisee partners who can continue and 
expand the Niihaw’s brand through our established and successful 
traditional high street store concept. Plus, we are keen to build on our
 emerging non-traditional concept through franchisee partnerships with 
established companies operating in the holiday, leisure, sport and 
hospitality sectors. We are excited to now offer a flexible portfolio of
 concepts at Niihaw’s to make it easier to build a Niihaw business 
anywhere where there is a demand for a quality conbination of trendy 
food like sushi, ramen, bubbule tea...
We are looking for 
individuals, couples or business partnerships with exceptional 
interpersonal and people and business management skills.  You also need 
to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the right
 mindset.
Previous fast-food or food experience is not necessarily
 a pre-requisite. The most successful franchisees are entrepreneurial, 
owner/operators who have excellent people skills and adhere to our 
values as an organisation.
To fully maximize this opportunity and 
help us to accelerate our growth further we ideally are looking for 
candidates who can demonstrate the following:
- Passion about delivering a great service through empowering people.
- Has a Multi-unit Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), retail, and/or foodservice/or business management experience.
- Can raise sufficient capital and can demonstrate financial ability
- Provide a long-term, strategic vision for developing a successful partnership with Niihaw.
Financial Information
This may vary and depends on several factors such as site chosen and 
building costs, but typically an investment for a traditional high 
street store is between £60K and £100K (excluding freehold & VAT) of
 which 20k should be in liquid funds.
What Is the Franchise Fee?
The franchisee fee is £17,500+ VAT for each franchise unit. You will 
also be responsible for the rent, rates and utility costs of the store 
for the term of the franchise agreement.
